Josef Langer Charitable Trust New Zealand

Conservation - Education - Recreation

The Josef Langer Charitable Trust  (JLCT) was formed as a result of a bequest from the estate of Josef Langer, a European immigrant to New Zealand who had worked as an electronics engineer for Air New Zealand. In 2005, The Josef Langer Charitable Trust was established to support conservation on Banks Peninsula, New Zealand.

The Josef Langer Charitable Trust has worked in conjunction with partner organisation Rod Donald Banks Peninsula Trust to secure 107 hectares at Le Bons Bay to be incorporated into the Langer Trust’s Panama Reserve. The reserve is owned by the Langer Trust and managed by Robin Burleigh.

Please only share your experiences with your personal contacts NOT on widespread social media eg Instagram/TikTok etc as this can cause overwhelming pressure on the facility and volunteers.
